Kwik-Pay allows you to restrict access to any of the program functions. By default, no security restrictions apply.
Access can be restricted on a user or group basis. If any security restrictions have been defined, then a login window will be displayed when Kwik-Pay starts. A valid user name and password must then be entered, and the user will be restricted to just those functions that have been defined.
You can define any number of users and groups.
User name
This is the name that has to be entered in Kwik-Pay's login window.
Password
The password is not displayed as you type it. Enter the password again in the confirm password field.
Is Group
Check this check box if this user definition is to be a group.
Member of group
If you have not flagged this user as a group, you can select a group here to link this user to a group. You can add security restrictions to this user when they are a member of a group. If a security permission is available either to the user or to their group, they will be able to perform the function. i.e. if the user group does not have 'payee delete' access, but the user does, they will be granted 'payee delete' permission.
- New creates a new function for the user
- Edit changes the current selected function's restrictions
- Delete deletes the current selected function
When you select a function for edit, or add a new function for the user, the User Function Edit form is displayed.
